Call issues static on calls
I have a I phone 4 3g and when I am on a call after about a minute I can hear the caller but all they can hear from my end is static. I do not lose signal and the phone is fully charged. Would really love if someone could help me with this as I live in a remote part of Australia and my phone is my life line.

the possible problem is that some of the circuits on the smart board arnt making a good connection due to a drop. If this is the problem u can check by press down on smart board below where the dock connector flex ribbon connects to the smart board. To fix it take it to expert to repair it by soldering it. Or put a semi thick piece of paper on top of it to push down on it for you.
I have the same issue with my customer's phone... I know about and have done the fix about the ambiant sound mic before so I'm wondering if this could be a variant of the same problem? Although, my customer says she has the same issue when she has her Bluetooth headset on?!?

Touch wood but I tapped the bottom of the phone quite hard with my hand on a call and it hasn't cut out since. Obviously that indicates that something is loose in would think.
