Home button unresponsive sometimes, tilting phone helps?

Hey guys,

I got a used iPhone 4 the other day, and the home button works sometimes, pressing down hard works 75% of the time, and tilting or hitting the device in different ways helps, its like something broke off inside. I don't want to take it all apart in case that I break something. I also don't want to pay 130$ for a fix at apple. What should I do?
