wifi doesnt find any network

History

Hello I just bought one iphone 4 from ebay but the wifi is not finding any network, it stays searching but never find no network even if I put it 10cm near the router.

I tried reset network setting and restored via itunes it but same issue. what can it be? thanks

I tried changing the wifi metal shield with a new one but it didn't work.

tried upgrading to iOS 6 and I go to wifi but cant turn it on , downgraded to iOS 5.1.1 again and same I turn it on and keeps searching with no results, when i got to wifi other to enter network information and click join it says could not scan for wireless networks. any idea please ?

Hi Denis,

I have exactly the same issue since a few days. Bought my phone a few weeks ago, worked great, but it started with sometimes not finding any wifi network, while they were several present (as found by my iPAD). I resetted the phone, reset network settings, put in flight mode and back, etc etc, but wifi is not working at all anymore since today.

In "about"I do see a wifi address, modem firmware 2.0.12

I am using the latest IOS 5.1.1 (9B206).

Hope somebody can shed some light on this issue.
