Screen doesn't lock when opened

History

Hello,

Somedays back, while working at home i left my macbook open, to run an errand at that moment a dunlop mattress fell on the open macbook and the Screen got pushed way back. Since then....the screen doesn't lock (Loose).

Can someone please tell me is this a-

1- Screen hinge problem? (clutch gear?)

2- Are the Hinges broken/damaged? (needs to changed)

3- Can this be fixed by applying GLUE ?(read a thread on ifixit)

4- Where can i get the new hinges from?

5- Do i need to get the entire screen changed?

I would appreciate if someone could guide me to solve this issue.

Yes, Yes, No, Anywhere (Google Shopping is your friend in DIY repair). Maybe (wont know until you open the device), the guide covers hinge replacement.
