What can I do to fix my mic of iPhone?
I have iphone 4 and i havethe same problem that many people have regarding the mic that it doesnt work during normal calls.
it works with viber, skype, video recording and i know that there are two mics..one at the top near headphone jack and one near dock at the bottom.
but suddenly today a friend called me and he could hear my voice..so it started working but after a few mins it stopped..then as i said i have read other articles...i tried to press my iphone from my back at different position..i came to know tht when i press it from back near headphone jack, it works( other person can hear my voice)
so what can i do to fix it?
My sis brought me iphone from usa and i dont know what to do next to get my phone fixed?
plzz help me..

try to make a phone call with the headphones, if that works.
try replacing the dock, mic is incl.

to fix the mic on your iPhone 4 or 4s the simplest way to fix that problem is to replace the speaker housing its an easy repair just follow the step by step directions of ifixit speaker housing repair.
Thankx for ur response.. actually what i am trying to figure out is what is wrong? because when i press the iphone from back then it works.. is the connection weak? actually i dont think i ll b able to open iphone and fix it and i m worried about the warranty..if my warranty is void, then i think i ll give it a try. its been 2 months..and i started using phn jst 3 days back.!! i havent tried reset yet but judging by the way voice comes..i m sure its a hardware prob.! so what will u suggest?

Well first reset your iPhone 4 and if the problem is still there then go to your apple store and tell them whats going if your still on warranty you can get another phone if that phone was bad
