Why is my ps3 making the eject sound
When I turn on my ps3 slim the blue laser by the eject button turn on after 3 seconds as soon as it shows the menu with everything it makes the eject sound as if the game ejects but it doesnt I tried everything possible I even brought a ps3 fan and sucked up all the air and still nothing I brought a cd with little brushes so while it plays it cleans it if anyone has any advice please respone.

You could try disassembling and cleaning the lens, and I think that could be a temporary solution. For a more permanent solution, try replacing the laser. You could replace the whole assembly - most probably a "kem450aAa". If the system is under warranty, Sony would replace it for free, but if it isint under warranty and you are good with electronics, you can do it yourself too. Opening up the system would, however, void the warranty, so be careful.
