stuck in headphone mode

I have a 2nd gen ipod touch. its stuck in headphone mode.done everything possible.

air compresser

replaced jack

plug jack in and out thousands of times!

found another foumn saying simething about graphite

the silly sucking on it.

the volume is so low in headphone mode. i got a app to turn up pod volume.used itunes to turn up songs.

need help.!!!!! when the headphones arnt in all the way and in the right spot i can hear it loud but they are barley pluged into jack
