"No SIM card" or "Invalid SIM card" messages come up

History

I have tried pulling out the SIM and re-installing it. It will turn on for 3-5 minutes and then post the "No SIM card" again

it can be the sim as the issue or the phone.

is the phone or sim new?

how old is the phone?

try getting the carrier to replace your sim card, if it dont fix your problem then i would suspect the phone, you may have a bad sim card reader.
