iPhone 4 GSM Power/Sleep/Wake Button Not Working

Repairing an iPhone 4 GSM for a faulty power button. Ordered replacement flex cable that connects to power button and replaced. STILL NO POWER!! Button depresses and causes "click" feeling but is not causing phone to power up or sleep/wake. Could this be the connector on the logic board even if it still looks good?
