My Kenmore Elite HE3 Dryer wont stay on. I turn it on heavy duty cycle which is 45mins. It will turn off anywhere between 5 and 20 mins. I have to keep watching it and turning it back on. It will dry clothes. I just have to keep starting it and watch for it to stop. I did some research and It seemed like that the Thermister would be the possible reason that it would not be working properly. So I took apart the dryer and replaced the Thermister. It only cost a couple bucks and a few hours of time. When I tried it again after it was put back together it lasted about 20 mins and then stop. Although I don't think it showed the E1 code that it normally did. So I don't know what to check next. I read that i could be the electrical paneling. I was wondering if it could be the thermal fuse plate next to the thermister. But I think that is for if the dryer is not heating at all. Anyone have ideas?
