Replaced Dock Connector, iPad not charging

Hi All,
I replaced the dock connector on an iPad 2 64GB 3G (The pins were bent) but the iPad is still not charging.
The process was pretty simple and no other cables or connectors were damaged in the process, but the iPad still won't charge.
Is there another part related to charging that I am overlooking?
The power adapter and sync cable are definitely working.

Just a quick update, finally realized the ipad was indeed charging but EXTREMELY slow. Went from 9% to 19% overnight. Also doesn't indicate that it is charging Any Ideas will be greatly appreciated! Thanks
