iPhone 4S Rear Glass Panel Compatability

History

Okay, I know there are a lot of posts about this but frankly, I'm sick of all the garbage and unclear responses...

I am curious to know if ALL iPhone 4S rear panels are compatable with eachother. (GSM and CDMA panels are interchangeable) I am not talking about iPhone 4 but the iPhone 4S

I currently have a CDMA iPhone 4S and need a new backing for the rear assembly, I am just curious as to weather or not all 4S backings are interchangeable.

So you recommend that if I am working on a GSM iPhone 4S that I attempt to find a GSM iPhone 4S rear glass panel? I know sometimes on eBay they will be specific in terms of the keyword you are typing and an item will say "this is for a GSM" or this is for "CDMA" but I was just wondering if all 4S backings were the same.

Okay, thank you. I know that regardless of internal storage (16, 32, 64) the backings would fit, I just meant like if you needed to get a CDMA backing for a CDMA iPhone or a GSM backing for a GSM iPhone. I was hoping that this time around all the iPhone 4S (CDMA & GSM) backings were interchangeable.

All iPhone 4Ss are exactly the same hardware wise. So as long as it says it's made for the 4S then it won't matter.

All 4s are the same and it will fit cdma iphone 4 as well.

CDMA Verizon/Sprint and 4S are interchangeable. GSM isn't compatible with CDMA or 4S. Check out this site CDMA back covers

There is no one answer to your question but from the experience and knowledge i have from fixing every type of apple product, the back panel of the all iPhone 4s are the same, but i wouldn't take the chance because the antenna might be there so to be on the safe side use the CDMA iPhone 4s rear assembly

If you are trying to replace the back panel of a GSM 4S, I would look for the GMS one instead of CDMA. I am sure that all iphone 4S iphones have the same back panels, regardless if they are 16 gb or 32 gb.
