Dishwasher wont wash at all

History

Power comes on and sounds like it's washing but it doesnt

My brand new dishwasher did nothing too.

I pulled it out, turned it over and inspected.

Turns out a wire had slipped off it's connector - easy fix.

I think a little preliminary investigation is in order

or call an appliance repairman.

Jack Gaston, you did not tell us what make and model your dishwasher is. It would help for further trouble shooting. Since it turns on, and it "sounds like it's washing" I assume it is going through the wash cycle. In that case, I would start with checking the water supply. Make sure that there are no obstruction and that the ate is turned on. It is possible that your inlet valve is stuck.
