PS3 overheating on STEP DOWN

Will the ps3 slim get hotter when using a step down transformer to bring the power from 230V to 120V, than plugging it directly??? will it blow if plugged in directly? PLS HELP ME WITH THIS ONE! ASAP!!!

Omar, if we continue to talk about the same PS3, no it will not get hotter. It will not necessary to use a transformer. The power supply is a dual voltage supply.
