What is the plastic panelling underneath the digitizer panel?
Installing iPod Touch 2nd Generation Front Panel
Under the digitizer lies a plastic panel that continues along the ipod's circumference and that holds and connects the home button to the motherboard. What is it called? ifixit refers to the whole getup as 'front panel." I accidentally broke this stuff while replacing my old, broken screen. The new one didn't come with it and now the home button doesn't work and there is nothing to hold the front digitizer screen in place.
