with NT MaxPower G4 1.6 Ghz, 2 GB RAM, 128GB SSD on board Sonnet SATA, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro AGP 128 MB card, ATX 420 watt ps (fully functional with the old MB), Sonnet Tempo USB2, Adaptec SCSI card to use, even today, my UMAX Astra 1220S with lid A4 transparent. Mac OS X Leopard.

Assembled, reassembled everything, does not boot, no sound, either pressing the programmer's button.

What's wrong?

Of course you knew only press the CUDA switch just once, holding for 10 seconds release, and, not to press more than once. Pressing repeatedly may interfere with the reset process. (The reset takes about 15 seconds).

No chime = failure of POST (power on self test) So I'd start by rechecking the seating/connectors for everything. This thread at Apple Discussions may also be of help. (If you need an Apple ID to follow the link you can make one for free.
