Squeeling noise coming from engine part of mower.

History

My mower started making this squeeling noise yesterday. It does this even when the blades are disengaged. I just replaced the blades & two idler pulleys. Any suggestions? It has a 50" deck.

Start with the basics - does it have oil in the engine?

Next step would be to try and narrow down where the noise is coming from. Is is coming from the starter? (assuming you have electric start) Is it coming from inside the engine? Is it coming from something binding against the output pulley?
