iPhone 4 only works on charger

History

i have an iPhone 4 which appears to only work on the charger. as soon as it has been removed from the charger it turns off. and you can't do a thing with it unless on the charger. i was just wondering what the problem is, how to fix it, and what part/s i need.

I have the same problem.....apparently is a bad battery or bad dock connector. I haven't had the time to try and fix it. So what I suggest is take your iPhone apart and reassemble it, to make sure everything is as it should be!

IF that does not work :) start with the easy thing and replace the battery. Should it not charge, replace the dock connector. Follow these guides http://www.ifixit.com/Device/iPhone_4#gu...

Try replacing the battery. It's a relatively cheap and easy fix and seemed to help my iphone 4. Good luck and hope it helps!
