There are several different styles of tool that can be used to compress rear calipers. Harbor Freight shows a kit with several adapters: tool

You will need to remove the cap from the master cylinder so that the fluid that is returning from the calipers has some place to go. If the fluid spills out of the master cylinder, clean it up immediately so it does not damage anything that is painted.

I found someone on a Jaguar forum with a similar problem to you. First try turning counterclockwise and see if anything happens. It could also help to remove the brake fluid reservoir cap or open the bleed valve for the caliper you're working on.
