ymin soem, in cases like yours I would try and start with something that I know works. I would start with a new battery. At least then you know that it has a good power supply. Also check the dock connector on your touch and make sure there is no debris or corrosion. Clean it out good. When you connect your iPod use a different port and do not use a hub to plug it in. I believe that the iPod had a charging fuse on the logic board and it is possible that the fuse is broken. But if you start with a new battery, than you will know for sure. Have you tried to reset your iPod yet. To reset iPod touch, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time until you see the Apple logo show up on the screen, when the Apple logo appears, reset is done. Of course, you also want to make sure that you have a known to be good USB cable and may want to try a different computer, as well as try to charge from an AC adapter. Hope this helps, good luck.
