How do I repair the zoom lens when sand gets in it?

I filmed a sand storm and sand must have lodged inside the zoom lens of my Olympus SP 350. Olympus fixed my zoom lens in 2008, but now informs me they don't have parts to fix it again. What parts do I need? Can I just open up the camera myself and blow the sand out of the lens?
