iPod won't charge on many different chargers

History

Hi last night I was using my iPod and I went to charge it and it only stayed at 10% and being plugged into charger it would turn Off and back on again. It is jailbroken if that has any thing to do with it. Do I need to change battery or is it a software thing. Ps I recently changed the LCD and touch screen and I had no problems, until a day after

Now it wont turn its just stuck in the low battery screen and its been like that all day and night

i also restored it to normal and nothing do i need a new battery ?

david ortega, since you worked on your iPod and have some subsequent failure, I would suggest to double check your work. Make sure everything is properly connected. If you find that it is, start by replacing the battery. If nothing else, it will provide with a known good place for further trouble shooting. Hope this helps, good luck.

my question is why would it do that the battery was working fine the other day

It may have been working until the battery was depleted. That is why it is so important to double check
