Intermittent keyboard issues, asking me to shut down...

History

I power on my mac, ok. But when I stop to work about a minute on it, pops up that screen of power button, that asks me to restart, hibernate or shut down. I got the same issue with the delete key. This start to happens after I cleaned my keyboard with a humid fabric. What should I do?

Follow rj713's advice of trying an external, if it works fine, then you probably need to replace the keyboard.

ok... I don´t have an external usb keyboard, so, what ive did was power it on, and remove the top case, and the issue is gone, so the keyboard :) And now my keyboard doesnt work anymore, just the power button (??), even the trackpad doesnt work. What could it be?

You may need a new keyboard ribbon, but it could also just be loose, follow this guide to check if it's loose.

You can try using a external keyboard. If it functions well you probably need to replace the keyboard. If not try disconnecting the keyboard and try again with the external keyboard. Let me know how its going. Ralph
