Front usb ports do not work

History

The problem is that there is no power in the front usb ports and the pop up window comes up nearly every minute even if I close the pop up.

The window reads - Because a usb device was drawing too much power... one or more devices have been disabled. Then - when you disconnect the device your other devices will be enabled.

No devices are connected to front - only keybord to back ports. Same on all back ports

The front power on button works as well as the power light.

The front Firewire also works.

The back 3 usb ports also work.

The computer starts and works well and I have tried a new Hard Drive with a fresh install of Snow Leopard.

I do not care if the front ports do not work - but I cannot use the computer with the pop up window all the time.

Please give us the last three figures of your serial number to get you to the correct parts.

Ok. I have few question:

1 Is it a PPC or Intel? And which model exactly?

2 Have you tried to use the front usb port, and if is case, does it work?

3 How many stuff are connected on back usb ports?

The usb system works bad on PPC Mac Pro. The Alleged Powers is low and causes Many probems. Among other things: kernel panic.
