YLOD on 40gb fix?

History

Hi

I have a 40gb ps3, which has after 7 years got the Yellow Light of DEATH D:<. Anyway, can you make a tutorial on how to repair? And maybe put a kit to repair it, for sale? I will be forever grateful. Thank you in advance!

i meant the 2nd gen 40gb ps3, without the 4 usb ports and memory card reader

There are lot of video's online on how to fix it I got the same problem manged to get it to work for 30 sec's with out thermal paste. U can't have hade it for 7 years as it only been out for six years.
