The left side of my iPod is white after I dropped it

I had it charging on the table. I went to set it down but I didn't put it all the way on the table. The charger pulled it down and it fell to the ground. It didn't crack and it was fine. I thought nothing of it but I didn't turn it on to fully check. An hour or two later, I go to use it and some of the left side of the screen is completely white. I can use it fine. I can touch it and it works. But I'm noticing that the whiteness is getting bigger. Is there a way to fix this?

I think you broke the very fagrile glass that holds the LCD. When it breaks the electrical traces break and the screen generally looses entire columns of pixels.

You will have to replace the front panel :

- Part: iPod touch (4th Gen) Screen

- Guide : iPod Touch 4th Generation Front Panel Replacement
