Big Problem no more screen after replacing HDD

History

Hi everybody.

Big problem on this iMac my friend just try to change the HDD because the original HDD is defective and after replacing the new one Nothing on screen we can ear the new HDD the superdrive and the fan but nothing on Screen and nO Boing from the start.

Can you help me please i would like to repaer this imac do you tink it's the Inverter?

PS: screen is totally black. Please help me=)

First try booting from the optic al drive with the the new hard drive in using your system installation disk. Then disconnect the hard drive and try. Reseat your display data cable, the one you had to unscrew the two screws.

Thx for your answer nothing happen when i try with the CD and after restart without hard drive nothing ... just black screen no chime...
