Can I swap logic boards between these laptops?

History

I have an a1261 that got dropped. The case is dented and separated in the front and the lcd bezel is broken so badly it won't shut all the way. Other than that is works perfectly.

I can buy a dead a1151, a1212 or a1229 pretty cheap.

Can I swap out logic boards and LCDs between these cases? Will I be better off buying one model over the next? What other parts will I have to or want to swap? Thanks.

I would stay with the same model number. You're just asking for frustration by switching.

It is more cost effective to have a bonfire with the components than stick with the same model. Mac users are very proud of their 4 year old laptops. I appreciate the advice though.
