Why do my controller buttons sometimes fire randomly?
One of my Dualshock 3 Sixaxis controllers has started acting erratically. Sometimes it seems to be okay, but sometimes buttons will just start acting like they've been pressed when they haven't. The effect can be caused deliberately by shaking it. I opened it up, and everything looks clean and happy inside, but the problem persists. Is there anything I should be looking for? If I accidentally damaged the contact sheet or its contacts to the PCB by touching them, is there anything I can do to clean them?

It has happened to many of my customers. They get angry, they throw or drop or kick the controller (yes kick.) The controller is physically being damaged, and will need to be replaced.
