Why won't my iPhone charge unless I'm squeezing it?

when i plug in my iphone it won't charge unless i squeeze it. Itunes doesn't recognize it and its frozen on the screen with the apple logo. I tried to put iy into recovery mode but it won't power down.

It sounds like your charging dock connection is loose, and you have to squeeze the connection in for it to work.

Also, it might be your mainboard itself is damaged, or it could remotely be a bad battery.
