Touchscreen not responding HELP! do I need a new digitizer?

History

hello,

i have a 3g iPhone and i've broken the

glass of the iPhone..

it worked fine until i dropped it again..

everything works besides the touch itself

wont respond...

i am thinking of buying a new digitizer

will that make a difference?

or is it my logicboard...?

Try rebooting it, if this doesn't fix it, then the digitizer is dead.

so if i change my digitizer it should work??

You should try replacing it, its pretty easy only one important thing BE PATIENT, and take your time.

hi

i dropped my ph for the first time and the same thing is happening the screen is not responding did changing the digitizer fixed it?? where can i buy one??

Am 90% sure that its dead and you need a new digitaizer but ckeck the 3 cabels under the LCD maybe it just unpluged after the drop.
