I need to use itunes to restore
it says that there is no more space when i try and put songs on my ipod but their isnt anything on it, and it says on the screen "use itunes to restore" i have looked on itunes and that site isnt very helpful at all, iv googled the problem and found the diagnostic screen but still can get anywhere, i dont know if its something i havent done or did wrong
try switching the computer off/restarting and then trying again.

craig, have you used iTunes in the past to restore your iPod? Have you synced with iTunes previously?
