Why my Machine simply wont turn on?!
I've had my laptop for a while now. (most definitley out of warranty) Recently, my magsafe adapter was showing signs of malfunctioning, wear, and tear. Eventually my computer would not charge or power on at all. I decided to purchase a new magsafe adapter, yet my computer now ceases to turn on or charge at all anymore even with the new adapter. Im lead to believe that this is no longer a magsafe adapter problem. Something must be wrong with the magnetic power port on the computer itself. Is there any advice you can give me to fix this problem?

Will the magsafe light up? What color? Is it Apple or a knock off? New or used? Remove the battery and examine for swelling and/or splitting. Do you get anything when trying to start? Chime? Any lights?
The magsafe light does not light up at all. The first one was the original magsafe adapter, that came with the machine. The new one is a refurbished magsafe adapter. However, it does not turn on at all. The battery is brand new as it was replaced due to the original battery having malfunctioned. (it began blowing up in size) The machine has absolutely no power. No lights, no chimes, nothing. For this reason i believe it is not the adapter, but the computer itself.
