Device overheating and shutdown.
Hi there! I have a problem with my 3GS.... My phone starts as normal,but after some minutes of using, it totally shutdown and if i attempt to start it, no succes... If i let the iPhone for 15-30 minutes ,it will start and work for another 10-20 minutes, and then the cicle starts again!
I think this is an overheating issue...How to fix this ?

first take out the sim.if still issue remains
test with good known battery
if still restarting check the btry contacts
try hard reset it-and inpesct the pcb

this might also be an unstable ios either dpkg if jb
