Why won't my apps work?

History

as soon as i tap on an app icon, the main screen flashes on then off immediately. i can access my music, calendar, calculator,...the basics. but i can't access facebook or any of my games. i have tried resetting the ipod.

try opening itunes app and clicking install for each app. Most likely it's the last app you downloaded hasn't installed fully or you've got too much on the ipod. You could also try a restore from a previous backup.

thanks! its working again!! i took off a lot of music i don't listen to anymore & i updated my apps. not sure which one is actually responsible for it working, but it does now. THANKS!!!

your iPod is kinda out of date, so these days on App store, Apps are built for iOS 4.1 or higher. As iPod 1st gen. doesn't get an update of iOS 4.1 or higher, therefore apps don't run on older platforms of Apple now.

Try to update your iPod to a newer iOS version to get new great Apps.
