Won't Read CD DVD internal or external
I have an LaCie external CDRW in addition to the Mini's internal MATSHITACD-RW CW-8124. Although both show on the Profiler, It won't recognize disks on either drive.

Could be a pin out of place on the connector to the HD or the CD/DVD. OR they could be shot. You could put the drives in an external case and connect via FIREWIRE. PPC don't like to "see" boot drives via USB.
