How can I turn on my samsung intercept?
So recently my samsung intercept has gotten wet and the battery was damaged in the process. I ordered a new battery online, but my phone still does not turn on. When I plug it into the charger it shows that the phone and battery are charging but once i push and hold the on button the whole screen turns black and it does not charge again unless i unplug the charger and then the battery and start all over but it still does the same thing. Help ?

Sounds like you still have some water damage within the phone.
Your only hope is to try to dry it out completely.
Your best bet is to strip the phone down to its individual parts.
A mediocre step by step guide to do so is available here:
Though you may be able to find a more comprehensive guide elsewhere.
Once you have the phone in pieces, you'll want to put them in an airtight zip-lock bag with dry white rice. Make sure to get all the air out and completely surround each component with the rice.
I know it sounds a little weird but the rice will actually draw all moisture out of the phone and its parts.
You'll have to let it sit like this for 6-7 days.
Once it's been left to sit, reassemble the phone piece by piece, cross your fingers, and turn it on again.
If you're lucky, it'll work.
This isn't a guaranteed fix, but it's your best bet.
Good luck!
