you could start one...that's the idea here. if you can't find a guide then start your own. If you're trying to fix a broken pair then you've nothing to lose. Usual problems are in the wiring from ear to plug (obvious) so try checking solder joints etc, fixed one just by plugging it in (wasn't broken in the first place!)
