Can someone identify this ripped cable on iPod Touch 4g?
So, this cable ripped off, but not completely. Do I need to replace it, and can someone tell me what it is so I can find it and buy it? Thanks.

Hey Steve,
Sorry to hear about your iPod Touch. I have actually ripped this exact cable while disassembling an iPod Touch as well. It is the headphone/sleep button control cable as seen in our teardown here.
You will need to replace it which may require a bit of soldering, as most of the cables in this device are soldered to the motherboard and to the external case.
