Why wont my ps3 come on?
my ps3 was working fine last night now it wont come on. i have unpluged it ad waited then pluged it back up and it still wont come on. how do i get it to come back on?

caylie, the fuse of the Playstation 3 video game console is prone to tripping. When the fuse has blown, your PS3 will no longer function until you replace the fuse. There should be one fuse and two thermal fuses on the inside of your power supply, Fuse F101 (T8AH AC250V) thermal Fuses THP101, THP201 . Check those and replace as needed. Also, check for any leaking or swollen capacitors in your power supply. Again, make sure that you have, and know how to use, a multimeter. It is needed for the trouble shooting. Any lights, sounds or any other signs of life? Have you checked the power cord? Do you get power to the PS3? If you get power going to the console, it might be time to open it up and checking it out.
