Replacement power ribbon is different

I'm currently in the process of replacing an Ipad2 digitizer and managed to break the power button ribbon cable while doing so.
No problem I thought, I'll just order a replacement cable and fit it. However after ordering it and stripping the existing one out, I noticed they were totally different in the way they connect. I've looked around and can't seem to find the type that is in this Ipad at all!
Here is a picture of the two cables..

The new one is the top one, the one I've removed is the lower one.
