Bent the Aluminum case.

So I was demonstrating the ruggedness of my gform extreme sleeve, something I have done at least a hundred times, and bent the back of my third generation iPad. Everything is operating fine, so I assume I just need to replace back and the bezel (which was destroyed when the glass separated from the case).

I assume I am going to have to take this back to Apple and let them fix it, or, more likely, purchase a new one. Either way I want to find a way to purchase a replacement back. If I need to get a new one, then I have a fun project that I can give away when I'm done.

Apple will know that you dropped it if the case is bent. Thankfully, aluminum is a softer metal, you *should* be able to carefully bend/hit it back into shape. Otherwise, I assume you could get a busted iPad from ebay on the cheap.

You can buy a shell, or try taking everything out of yours and heating it up and bending it back in place.
