Your computer is not seeing a usable operating system and may have a bad hard drive. Try booting to a system disk. If it boots to the system disk you probably need to replace the hard drive. First try repairing the disk with the system disk. If repair works I would seriously consider backing up my data and replacing the drive as it may be in the process of dying.
