Exchange HDD from one boken one to another

History

This is not really an answer, but a relevant question to experts. I have two broken 160 thin iPod classics, the first i dropped and broke the hard drive, while the second one i dropped while connected to a charger and broke the connector. My question is, do you think i should remove the hard drive from the second one and put it in the one with the broken hard drive?

nolan walker, since they are both broken, you really do not have anything to lose. When you change the HDD make sure you also change the cable. Hope this helps, good luck.
