Green lines on lcd, external monitor is fine

The problem looks like this:

Vertical green lines all over the screen. But no problems with an external screen. Do I need to replace the screen or the display data cable?

hi all, I replaced the screen and guess what... The green lines stay on my screen... NO!!! Is the problem the datacable or could it be another problem, External screen is still working fine. Can anybody help me out? Thanks! Joost

If it happens when you move the screen it will be a cable... if not the display.

When I move The screen it stay all the same.. Time to fix my screen! Thanks
