It won't work once unpluged?
I think it got wet ( sweat ) at the gym??
Works when plugged into comp, it will reconize it and i can add and delete from it. BUT it will not charge/OR work once disconnected from comp??
I'm color blind so i don't know what color it is flashing??

jim, it does sound to me that you are due for a new battery. If it works okay when it is plugged in, but does not work when unplugged, is most likely due to a bad battery. Follow this guide to replace your battery. Hope this helps, good luck.
