runs slow in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear

History

I have to put the mower in 5th gear and its still not as fast as it use to be Im just wondering what the problem might be

which mower is it and have you checked for slipping belt, frozen pulleys etc?

I'm betting loose belts. Replace the drive belt, and lubricate the spring tensioners.
