Can I remove a corroded bluetooth board and still use my MacBook?

I spilled a glass of ice water on my macbook pro last night. Immediate reaction was to grab, turn upside down, remove power source, power down and then remove battery. Wiped down the exterior keeping it upside down.

Looked up on other macbook what to do to dry it out. Put it in a bag of rice for the last 24 hours, opened in a tent position.

Tonight, I got out the tools and took off the top case to look inside to see if there was any water left or any evidence of water on the internal parts.

It all looks ok, except the bluetooth antenna where it connects to the bluetooth board.

Will this affect the other components in the computer? If it will, can I just remove the entire bluetooth piece?

YES it will work without bluetooth board, you can use an external USB bluetooth. IMnsHO as long as you're in there with care clean the possible corrosion off the rest of the board. clean with 99% isopropanol, ethanol or alcohol, dont use 70%, it has to much water. See What to do after a liquid spill for more suggestions.
