Why is my iPhone 4 not charging.?

Need help!!!

my phone was working perfectly until 23/03/2012 friday night when it went totally off battery..when i put it on charge over night i woke up and saw it still wasn't charged or charging..and it dosent show on the computer neither...by the way i wasnt using its own adaptor...but it still dosent show on the computer..cud it be because i use it while charging? please help!!

Options

If the battery is too low it will not show up on your computer until the battery is more charged and the phone can startup. Iphone will not charge with just any USB charger -- the Apple USB chargers have some special features that the iphone checks to make sure it can charge. It will be best to attempt to charge for awhile with the supplied Apple charger (and cable) before deciding there is a problem.
