Safe boot startup required MacBook Pro

History

after updating iTunes MacPro will only start and operate by holding the shift key down as computer is powered on. (safe boot) Solution anybody?

are you sure only itunes was updated if thats the case just delete it and find an older version of itunes...or if u can run software update in safe mode open it and check for uodates that might fix it...or an extreme measure reinstall the operating system but dont delete ur files...

Pop in your installation disc boot from it , run disk permissions on your drive and see if that helps first.
